Hey! Just got new glasses. Very funky. Have to get used to them, I feel like I’m looking through a fisheye lens. Hopefully that will pass because it is a bit annoying.
So I also got prescription sunglasses for the first time. LOVE them! Can’t believe I waited so long to get some. I figured when you’re living in the VALLEY OF THE SUN and get VERY FEW cloudy days it was worth getting them.
My car still isn’t ready. They said it suffered a catastrophic event. I don’t think it’s going to recover myself. I still say they should give me a new car and give up.
I received some new photos this week. Some from Connie of the kids and some from Caleb from a Tiger game. I will post them over the weekend, so keep an eye!
Okay, I am one of those who doesn’t mind going to a movie alone. In fact, I rather enjoy it!
Yesterday, I went to a matinee to see Evening, which is, by the way, pretty good. So I sat at the very top row like I always do because it’s hard for me to sit that long, and I can squirm and wiggle or even stand up if I need to without disturbing anyone behind me.
So I am sitting there eating my popcorn when some crazy lady comes in with her daughter and comes to the back row. No problem - until she came all the way over to where I was sitting and asked if I was saving any seats for anyone (the theater only had about 4 people in it at that time besides us) to which I replied no.
So she sits her butt down RIGHT NEXT TO ME! Chatty and annoying with her perfume that smelled and kept making me sneeze. I should have just been rude and moved over, but with her purposely sitting there, I felt like I couldn’t do that.
So needless to say, I was uncomfortable the whole movie because I couldn’t be my squirmy self, she smelled, and I was distracted for the entire movie.
So to whomever you are crazy movie psycho, you ruined my peaceful afternoon alone with my thoughts at the movies!
It was still good to get out of the house after a week with no car! (I now have a rental)

On another note, we went to the Snow Patrol concert last night. I found them with a free download on ITunes and love their music. I like them even better after seeing them perform. Great music. Their lead writes all their music and lyrics. Great job quite unique. Check them out! http://www.snowpatrol.com/
Well, been awhile since I posted. So, here’s the latest:
Jen and Matt are pregnant! Yooo Whoooo! Expecting in February, actually Jen said the 14th. I can’t wait to find out if it is a boy or girl, because I have the cutest bootie pattern that are little knitted Mary Janes! I have cute boy patterns too, so either way, it will be fun!
Was supposed to pick up Matt and Jen at the airport yesterday morning. It just wasn’t my day… I was driving down the 101 at 70 miles an hour in the fast lane because I was almost to the 10 which exits to the left when suddenly my car jerked like I had slammed on the breaks for a second. The check engine light went on and it was making an awful whirring noise. (I later noticed that the RPM’s were running between 3 - 5. Way too many RPMs for the engine.
So I hit my hazard lights and made my way to the right lane and off the next exit in the middle of rush hour traffic. I pulled off the road (Thomas) and called the dealer. They said that there was another dealer about a 1/2 mile from where I was, so I “limped” my car there. I had to wait forever to even talk to someone, because I didn’t have
