Our Lives

So, a very merry Christmas was had by all.  We enjoyed our celebration.  Good food, good company and even Caleb and Amber were with us in spirit with a little help from Photoshop!  More pictures on the slideshow page. 

Saw Sandy last week when she was in town.  It was great to see her.  She just emailed me this picture of her pups… too cute!  Click on the Pix to see a larger image.

Ugh! I just got back from the hand doctor.  He gave me THREE shots of cortisone.  One in the writs and two in the palm of my hand.  OUCH!  Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands, the right one is the worse and the one I got the shots in.  I also have trigger finger in two fingers which often goes along with Carpal Tunnel and is why I had two shots in the palm.  Did I say OUCH?  Still hurts…..  Poor ME..

Last night had a great time with our friends across the street.  They made dinner for Jay’s B’day and we played cards.  We had a great time.  Anyway, there is a little hill behind our neighborhood that we call the “Magic Mountain” because it is white and you can see it from way across the valley.  It’s white because it is all Quartz.  Jay and Bob have been there before, and now they are taking Wally and I.  Should be fun.

 Monday was cookie day.  Katie and Sarah (roommate) came over and we cooked up a storm… fun and lots of cookies.  I made applesauce bread yesterday, so now I’m all set for Christmas.

Been remiss…

 Well, I have to right a wrong.  I do like Huckabee - standup guy and all - Quick thinker - however, I don’t like his stance on illegal imagration.  Just lost my vote.

 However, good ole Senator from AZ, John McCain.  I voted for him in the MI primary back when Bush won his first round.  I would vote for him again.  Age an issue?  He’s in great health, the same age as Regan when he was elected… and he did great!

McCain sticks with his values, stands his ground, says what he believes in and sticks to it…. 

hmmmmmmm….. Can he beat Hillary?  Obahma? 

I certainly hope so!
