Cookie Day, Hands, Magic Mountains and Puppies

Saw Sandy last week when she was in town. It was great to see her. She just emailed me this picture of her pups… too cute! Click on the Pix to see a larger image.
Ugh! I just got back from the hand doctor. He gave me THREE shots of cortisone. One in the writs and two in the palm of my hand. OUCH! Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands, the right one is the worse and the one I got the shots in. I also have trigger finger in two fingers which often goes along with Carpal Tunnel and is why I had two shots in the palm. Did I say OUCH? Still hurts….. Poor ME..
Last night had a great time with our friends across the street. They made dinner for Jay’s B’day and we played cards. We had a great time. Anyway, there is a little hill behind our neighborhood that we call the “Magic Mountain” because it is white and you can see it from way across the valley. It’s white because it is all Quartz. Jay and Bob have been there before, and now they are taking Wally and I. Should be fun.
Monday was cookie day. Katie and Sarah (roommate) came over and we cooked up a storm… fun and lots of cookies. I made applesauce bread yesterday, so now I’m all set for Christmas.
