As most of you know, Mom has broken her other hip. She is currently in Del Webb hospital on their rehabilitation floor working hard with the physical therapists. She gave us quite a scare as she ran a fever just before and after surgery to have her hip replaced. As it turns out, the bacteria that showed up in the culture is inconsequential, just an everyday skin type bacteria. Thanks be to God.
So, on Easter Matt and Jen came to our house for dinner. Gracie is getting so big, and is she ever a cutie pie. I didn’t take any pictures because I have more or less given up on my camera because the quality is so bad, but Matt did promise me he would send me some. Check out Jen’s blog (in the left column) for some recent photos.
Caleb called me today and said that he and Amber may try to come out here for Mothers day. If not that weekend the one before or after if Amber can’t get the weekend off. That would be AWESOME to have both my kids here for Mothers day! I hope they can work it out for that weekend.
Feeling a little under the weather today. Headache, upset stomach, and just a general feeling of exaustion. I’m not going to visit Mom today because of it. I don’t think I am sick - more like maybe a sinus infection working on me, but don’t want to take the chance.
