Here goes:
Mom is now home from the hospital and is she EVER happy about it. I went and visited her today and she is doing very well.
We got a new kitty. Her name is Brownie. Jay has my camera, so will have to post photos when I get it back. We had her declawed (mean parents) and she is having trouble. They got infected and she got pretty sick. Now she’s on antibiotics but is wearing one of those e-collars and is having trouble eating and such. She also is having trouble using the litter box because her feet hurt, so she had an accident tonight right outside the box. Ugh!
Caleb and Amber are coming out for Mothers Day. The only thing that would hold them back is if Caleb’s new boss won’t let him take the time off because…….He got a promotion to STORE MANAGER today. Very cool and a great salary package! He sure has been on a fast track to success with Pier 1 out there in San Jose! I’m beginning to think that the move to CA was a good one. (always did, just being selfish about the distance)
We officially joined the Willowbrook Methodist Church last Sunday. What a great church. We met some other people that live in our development and the 8 of us got together for dinner then went to the church for a brass concert. It was a blast. These people are all great. We decided that we will rotate the house but get together once a month for dinner. I volunteered for May.
Jay’s doing very well with his new venture.
Matt and Jen are having Gracie baptised on April 27. I will take lots of kleenex, because I always cry at baptisims. Check out Jen’s blog. There are some great photos of Gracie. I can’t believe how big she is just since Easter!
We have a lot of weeks reserved for the cottage this summer which will help out alot.
Mom and Dad will probably be able to go back to Michigan on May 10 as planned. As long as Mom doesn’t run into any problems.
I heard through the grapevine that Julie got a new job. Sounds like an interesting job. Very cool. Contratulations Julie!
Katies doing well, wrapping up the semester soon so has lots of projects due which is keeping her very busy. We do try to have dinner together once a week which I really look forward to.
K, that’s it for now. Take care!
