First of all Happy Mother’s Day!  Never too late to shout out to all the mothers in the family.  How exciting for Jen to be her very first Mother’s Day!

We had a great Mother’s Day celebration that lasted five days at our house.  Caleb and Amber were in town for my Mother’s Day present.  Yeah!  I had both my kids here with me this year.  It was awesome! 

Katie, Caleb and Amber all went to church with us.  It was an unbelievably touching message.  It moved us all to tears…..  Funny how God knows what to say to you and when….

We headed up to Sedona and hiked up to the Devils Bridge.  What an awesome hike!  This is a picture of Amber and Caleb on the bridge.  They were making me so nervous, I couldn’t even look.  That green in the center looks like it is in front of the stone, but it is actually the bridge opening.

I am so proud that I made it all the way up.  It was quite an involved hike.  Lots of climbing.  Going up wasn’t bad, but I was worried about coming down (don’t like heights much) but I made it.

Watch for more photos.  (I know, I still owe the ones from the baptisim.  I should have some time this weekend to get it all done.)  : )

Wow, Sandy sent a video about Ken White’s Alyssa being named the BCSN Student of the Month and has been nominated for the Student of the Year.  The video file was too large to embed, and I don’t have the software to compress it so here is the information that will air 500 times during the month of May:

It seems that Alyssa has a 4.0 gpa and plans to attend Ohio Northern University to become a pharmasist.  She is also a member of the National Honors Society, plays varsity Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball.

Great achievment, Alyssa!  Way to go!
